My son takes classes here and the owner Mr. Shepard is great. He has helped with my son's attitude and determination tremendously. I enjoy being able to watch the kids learn new and hone previously learned techniques. It's pricey, but worth it. The monthly membership doesn't include all the extra gi attire, etc. However, we were introduced by a super discount which seems common with entry level kiddos. I'd love to try adult classes.

Excellent school to attend to begin your journey to martial Arts. Kenpo is a good full contact art that is good for stress relieve and get in shape while learning how to be competent and confident in your ability to defend yourself. Mr. Shepherd is a good instructor who's work shows through his higher ranked students and trickles down all way down to the beginners. All are welcomed at this school. They also have kick boxing and sparring classes too. Would highly recommend and I'm thankful that there is such a good opportunity here in Fortuna.

Two of my five grandchildren attend karate lessons and love every minute! I highly recommend this establishment! I am impressed with their professionalism, kindness and quality program! My other 3 grandsons will attend as soon as they are old enough!

We have 3 girls who have been taking Mr. Shepard's karate class for almost a year, and we have been so impressed by the increase in their ability and their confidence. When one of the girls began, she just stood on the mat, head faced down, too shy to try. Mr. Shepard was patient yet stern with her, and she has grown in leaps and bounds!

My daughter goes to this program. Mr. Shepard is so patient with the kids and is able to firmly, kindly and with respect re-guide their focus and attention span back to the techniques and values of Kenpo. This class has given my daughter a motivation to practice at her skill and practice respect to her parents. I would and do recommend this class to everyone.
